THE COLLECTOR’S GUIDE

Understanding Card Rarity

Discover what each rarity tier means and how it shapes your collection.

Seven tiers, one real museum collection. Rarity shapes a card’s frame, finish and fixed game attributes—not the cultural importance of the object.

Common

The starting point of your collection and the most frequent tier in standard draws. A restrained finish and the lowest base attribute band give every collection a foundation.

How rare is each tier?

These are tier probabilities per card, not the percentage of cards in the collection and not the chance of finding a tier in a whole pack.

LR — Legendary Rare0.3%Approximately 1.76%

An ordinary pack normally uses five standard draws. Every tenth ordinary pack and every Golden Pack use four standard draws, followed by one SR+ draw. That final position draws only from SR, SSR, UR and LR, using their relative standard weights. Rounded conditional percentages are shown below.

Rarity is chosen first, then a theme. Each of the four themes has a 25% chance when all four are available for that tier; otherwise the available themes share the chance. Natural History also balances its available subtypes, so individual cards do not all have equal odds. Duplicates remain possible, and your collection does not affect selection.

Within Natural History, insects and other invertebrates share about 30% of draws when other verified groups are available. Other available groups share the rest; a pack is not required to contain every group.

Ordinary packs

Every ordinary pack contains 5 cards. Start with 10 packs; one returns each minute, up to 10. Opening a Golden Pack does not spend an ordinary pack.

Your tenth ordinary pack

Every 10 ordinary packs, the tenth pack guarantees at least one SR+ card and also awards one extra Golden Pack. The counter then starts its next ten-pack cycle.

Golden Packs

Open an earned Golden Pack separately. It contains 5 cards, including at least one SR+ card. It consumes one Golden Pack, does not advance the ordinary-pack counter and does not award another Golden Pack.

SR+ means SR, SSR, UR or LR. It does not guarantee SSR. A Golden Pack does not guarantee UR or LR.

What Do ATK and DEF Mean?

ATK and DEF are fixed game attributes generated by Museum Gacha. Higher tiers have higher base attribute bands, with variation between objects. The same artifact keeps the same base rarity, ATK and DEF.

They currently describe your collectible card. Battle and PvP are not available. These numbers do not measure an artifact’s real-world value, quality or importance, and are not an official Smithsonian rating.

How it works

A stable rule based on the museum record’s identity assigns rarity and attributes. These values do not rise when you open more packs. The draw probabilities are configured separately from that assignment.

A few collecting questions

Is Showcase an eighth rarity?

No. Showcase is a special visual presentation of selected cards. It does not change rarity, ATK, DEF or draw odds, and is not a separate version you can draw.

Do duplicates upgrade a card?

Duplicates increase your owned count. They do not change the card’s rarity or base attributes.

Does a run without UR or LR improve my next draw?

No additional escalating or hidden pity is implemented. The ordinary ten-pack cycle and Golden Pack SR+ guarantee are the guarantees described here.
